I love how people love to talk shit but dont help so sad to see what this world has come to
wht da fck yar calling me ya fcking fag ya.. i just said de way things are..ya dnt learn,ya dont wana learn so whats de problem here.i just said dat its gonna be a epic failure.ill make a bet with ya..if yar plant will grow well and buds are nice i apologise and if im right ill laugh my fcking head off
Id just like you to stop posting on my threads since you dont help and ive seen that your a asshole who i want nothing to do with sir.
If u want help then u need to fill out the troubleshooting form. Even if u do not think u have a problem, u could learn a lot from the questions it asks and I bet someone can find something u could be doing better. If not, then I suppose u dont want help. All in all I thought this board was here so we can all help each other with our medicine.
Ye i know at least you told me to troubleshoot and i just found that sticky lol :D
do i post it here?
Yes
Also i messed up the time i started it only been like a week and a half since it sprouted so im not sure how longs its been root bound
so its only been maybe 2 weeks since it sprouted and its been root bound :C hopefully it will do better. Also can you give me the link for the troubleshooting
So what kind of plants r u growing? What dirt r u using? What nutes do u plan on using? What is ur in going ph and ur out going ph?
Not sure got the seed from some good bud i think it might be indica but ill be able to tell when it gets bigger
was using jiffy seedling mix that was ph balanced and little nutrients.
Transplanted to regular no brand potting soil
I was planning on using MG that is very diluted so that i don't over fert it is 24-8-16 but i am not giving it yet.
Right now i am using Deerpark drinking water.
Haven't checked my ph yet but i can try not that its in the final soil.
Ph is very important. And u might look into buying an expensive soil like ffof.
Ye if i transplant again ill try to get a better soil also. Can i just test the water going into the plant, Then test the ph of the water that drained off?
correct
Cool :D
Well my water is 5-6ph and after running through soil it is maybe 6-7ph. I have PH Up as well as PH Down for pool would that not work if the ph becomes a problem?
I am doing a first grow using cfls. I used the bright white for vegging like most people say. And i tried to get by with just 2 and a halogen. vegged fine. was growing like an inch every 2 days. tried to flower and they streched ridiculously. have been adding lights ever since. anything i could get my poor boy hands on has now turned into a light fixture. they were doing much better and started flowering. cute lil SSH buds! then bud growth had slowed down. so Im adding more lights. its like a cfl sun in there. Id like to thank the power co for supplying me with so many free cfls! these stretched tall and skinny. hopefully the WW i got vegging will be a lil better thanks to all the lights up already. gonna try and supercrop them as i topped this first batch but still lanky girls.
Ye everything i read said that growing 100% with 2700k will cause major stretching and slow growth but its growing tons of leafs along with good root growth and its definitely not stretching but it is at like 2 weeks old maybe a little more and is starting to smell really dank lol and secondary growth is coming in
So what looks like the problem for these leafs? feels like they are drying out but not sure
Attachment 275842Attachment 275843Attachment 275844
I think the curling of the leafs was because i moved the light to close so far no signs of its curling anymore since i moved the lights a little bit farther away moved it to a bigger box with more room
The secondary growth is coming in very fast. The foil isn't to reflect light to the plant but onto the container so that it heats up some since the soil was cold to the touch

Alright so i decided what the hell im growing with 2700k for veg i might as well try the yeast idea for CO2. So i mixed up 3/4 cup sugar with 1 packet of yeast in a water bottle with a hole in the top and a straw fit snug into with the straw like 1/4-1/2 inch above the top of the plant. Ill see if i get any MAJOR increase in growth maybe 2700k+CO2 is key for awesome veg :D
Also its in a 1x1x1.5 box that is completely sealed and i shut off the vent fan for the co2 to hopefully build up around the plant if i see this works good enough i make a bigger mixture and whatnot
I thought CO2 was used mainly in the flower cycle..?
I wonder if this would help my 2 little seedlings that are all pissed off @ me..lol
CO2 is good all round
I've read some things saying the amount the Yeast makes is way less than what your intake fan brings in but with a good enough yeast/sugar/water set up you might be able to make enough pure CO2 to see noticeable growth. Some say that with a small scale CO2 yeast generator you can get like 20-30ppm so 1-3 wouldn't hurt since average CO2 in the atmosphere is supposed to be 300ppm.
So if you can raise the CO2 ppm by like 100 for like $5 why not?
Also if you try this try to keep the mixture away from the light. Here is the measurements 1L Water, 2 Cups Sugar, 1Tsp Baking soda, 1Tsp Yeast (i used 1 and 1/2) all into a 2L Soda bottle with a hole in the lid with a piece of tubing hanging over your plants since CO2 is heavier than air it will fall onto them. Just double for bigger containers And anyone who tells you this isn't worth doing is a complete and ignorant fool
Thanks Im going to try this today keepin my fingers crossed
Sweet its working already I put the end of the hose inside a small shot glass of water between the seedlings so I can see the bubbles
Peace
Hey I think we have the same problem..
I was stupid & took my seedlings out of the himid box too early..
WAY too early..
I put mine back into a aquarium got the humidity up to 65%
and along with the CO2 they are springing back to life !
What is your humidity inside your box..?
I bet it cant be that high made of cardboard..
You should put your plant in a big tupperware container made into a growbox kinda like the one you have now..
Peace
Ye mine could use more humidity with CO2 humidity should be less than 50% but my plant is already way past the seedling stage and CO2 is better absorbed at high temperatures but then more CO2 is needed at those higher temps. Also i am vegging with 2700k lights for now which are doing the opposite of what everyone says 2700K does to vegging plants
1 Day + CO2

Maybe lining it with mylar or even tinfoil would help keep humidity in..?
Are the emergency blankets made of Mylar?
Also once you know the CO2 is coming out you should let it fall onto the plants since some of the CO2 dissolves in water
Ghetto drawing for Ghetto setup
Attachment 275886
Yes their mylar
I took your advice & lifted the tube above the plants
I cant believe the difference from this morning
I figured they were dead..lol
Still a bit droopy but Im sure a day or 2 they'll be back growing :)
Well any amount of co2 is good at sea level it is 300ppm in the air but i live at like 1,800 elevation plus the plant is in a box in a closet so i doesn't get much CO2 going in and out so any extra will help.
Conservatively id would say that 1-2 2L bottles will raise co2 by at least 10-30% depending on how good the yeast grows which could mean life or death for sick plants
Added another one that just sits next to the plant with a tube sticking straight up so the co2 fills up the whole container while the First one lets the co2 fall straight onto the plant
Also i turn on the exhaust fan on every couple of hours to get the oxygen back out
Also added a piece of Mylar to one of the sides just for now i have like a 10x5 sheet but its kind of hard to cut lol
lol in the "old days" a bud of mine would always steal my old dutch potato chip bags I had no clue wtf he was using them for until I finally figure it out..lol
He used them to line the inside of his grow boxes not many people know but they were also made of Mylar also
How hot does it get in the box only turning it on every couple hours I'd think would get too hot in there
The box I made is 18Dx22Wx33H I have 1 55W CFL thats hanging & adjustable and 1 120mm PC fan in the top corner & a smaller 3" hole in opposite bottom corner & I'd have to have the fan on the entire time to keep it @ 77*
I lined mine with tinfoil but doubt I'll use it the closet its in is perfect for what I want anyhow
My babies now are about the same age as yours were when you started this post..
If mine are the same size as yours in 2 weeks I'll be happy..lol
Moved the light a little bit farther away and got me a mister bottle since the 2 oldest set of leaves are really thin and papery but that is about it no browning no discoloring just really thin and paper like leaves so hopefully with a little liquid encouragement they will plump up since the soil is nicely moist just the oldest leaves are being kinda lame
Yep mist inside there a few times a day the cardboard will suck most of it in & hopefully keep the humidity up to where you want it..
