looks like calamari is popular.
i ate a lot of it in spain, where i also ate shark filet or 'tiburon'. it was like a very mild tuna steak, slightly buttery with a chicken-like consisteny. i really really liked it. i remember walkign to school while in Sanlucar de Barrameda and strolling by a market every day. we would peek in occasionaly to see them gutting fresh 6 foot sharks on the tile floor. it was quite a sight and i felt bad for eating shark later on but it was so delicious and i figured it would be hard to find back in the states. i recommend it if you get the chance.
