Serious Problems - Spider Mites 6 1/2 weeks into flowering
k, the product I was talking about earlier is Schultz's Insecticidal Soap, its active ingredient is 1% potassium salts of fatty acids and it says on the bottle it is safe to spray on edibles up until the day of harvest, so do you think I can use this to combat the mites in the last 10 days or so before harvest?

HOT-SHOT NO PEST STRIPS ARE YOUR BEST BET.
NO BUGS, NO MOLD, NO FUNKY TASTE.
THOSE SPRAYS THAT ARE SAFE ON EDIBLES............ ARE THEY SAFE ON SMOKABLES? IMHO, EATING CERTAIN THINGS ARE MORE SAFE THAN SMOKING CERTAIN THINGS.
BUT WHAT DO I KNOW?
I SWEAR BY THE PEST STRIPS. WILL KILL THEM BASTARDS IN A FEW HOURS.
GOOD LUCK

will pest strips really get rid of spider mites?? It seems like they pretty much chill just on my buds and suck on the leaves, doesn't seem like too many of them would get caught in the pest strips. I'm not trying to discredit your idea, thiis is simply my first time dealing with the bastards and I just want to understand how it will help.
As far as your other point, I know what your're saying :sadcrying hopefully someone here has experience with this product and knows a little bit more?

Hot Shot :: No-Pest Strip - 5580

I put one in my room a couple hours ago. It's only like 7 X 7 X 5, so it should only need 1 strip, I'll probably continue once or twice more with the insecticidal soap as well and hopefully I'll be clear for harvest! Day 43 and everything is looking good, thanks

Neem doesn't do anything other than empty your pocket book and create work. I used Kelthane 2.5 months ago and the critters are gone. I have friends who use Avid and have reported the same. Kelthane is really inexpensive (@$8/ qt which makes 96 gallons of solution and in the past 3 months I have used less than 1 quart of mixed solution....).
