Now, Rome was sacked by tribal peoples fro mNorthern Europe, throwing the continent largely into chaos and obviously survival, rather than scholarship and the erection of buildings and monuments, became the main focus... the secrets of the keystone may have been lost, except that the secret Masonic society formed to protect it, among other important pieces of knowledge. Now I certainly hope that I am not giving masons credit for the activities of other secret societies, but another function of these fraternal organizations has been to protect scientific writings and knowledge from destruction ot the hands of religious persecutors as the Catholic church has been at times in history... and some may argue is still the case today. I won't disagree. Anyway I wish that people would stop posting such ignorant fucking homophobic nonsense. I thought that on the spirituality board we were supposed to be RESPECTFUL?
