I don't think anyone could deny that Wooten's got a lot of talent and ability.
I just don't care for his style though. And while Les Claypool may not have the same technical ability, he's far more entertaining on the bass.
See if you can find a song he plays called The awakening. It's also the solo on the rhinoplasty version of Tommy the Cat live.

i agree with you on wooten. as skilled as he is, way better than i can ever dream of becoming, he plays great style, but it doesnt sound all that great to me. i still admire though.Quote:
