I'm probably a bit too obnoxious to be a Mod :D ... but, although I bark a lot, I seldom bite ... too old and stoned to argue ... :D

Just so you know...you last 2 have been nominated but??????????
Just thought I would throw that out there.
we need a couple more good Mods for the general, and cultivation section, but management is a little slow in appointing new meat!!!LOL peace
:o awwww shucks ... thanks for the kind words ... :D
Funny thing the other day, I was driving my car after having had a drink in a bar. Now mind you this is the first time I have EVER had a drink and got behind the wheel. I drank water played darts and all that good jazz.
I got pulled over and to my great joy I blew a triple 0 on the breath alyzer. Now I am a med patient and had all my paperwork in order. I had a very small amount of seeds in a small ziplock that I didn't really care about. (or they wouldn't have been on my floor board) The officer found the seeds and started to question me about them. Well when I pointed out the fact that I was a MMJ patient, and he said, but why do you need seeds?
The cop actually thought that my Dr was providing me with MJ. I finally had to quote the RCW 69.51A (if you are a patient you should know your laws of your home state this well, it really does pay off) and tell him that the dr only provided me with a piece of paper and that I had to grow my own medicine.
He called it into dispatch while I sat in the back of the car in cuffs.
I had to point out to him that if I didn't grow my own medicine, I would have to go to the street dealers as there is no dispensery in WA state.
(boy was he pissed that he had to give back all my glass pipes and the seeds and stuff  )
We have to educate not only ourselfs as patients or citizens, but also our law enforcement and politicians as well. I worked for a patient group for the better part of the last year, and most of them were terrible growers. They had to go to the streets as well.
Get involved with your local groups where ever you are. You know after some digging around that some counties in WA state don't even know that there was a MMJ law passed? They have been putting patients in jail for the last 8 years.
Though education and motivation anything is possible. Write letters, send emails, make phone calls, or donate time to groups.
Ok now I'm just rambling but I want to say that I really agree with the image reaper, if we all run around smoking J's with fingers stained orange from cheetos and making street deals, nothing is going to get better.
Now if only we could do something about club sluts and their attire......
but that is for a diff rant.
Thanks for listening,
Winks
GREAT story  ... glad you were released, after the hassle ... I noticed the cop was pissed about not being able to complete his 'bust' ... jerk must be fond of meaningless paperwork :p ... maybe if he kept busier protecting lives, and watching out for REAL crime, he wouldn't get so bored ... good luck to ya ... :smokin:Quote:

Even just reminding others that while they may consider it a crime, cannabis cultivation and use is by itself a truly victimless crime... it's all of the aspects of the illegality of commerce in it that brings the unsavory element out.
Just telling someone that while you respect their decision not to use cannabis personally, they should also respect your right to do so.
Now where have we heard this before? :D
And Latewood... are you serious? No kidding! Aww, I'm blushing!
I have always thought that you and IR and turtle420, as well as the perv known as Knowmy...LOL (just kidding GK) should be given some power to help. Imho.
IR, Turtle, and Knowm are definitely tops on my list of characters who should be mods! Storm Crow is another -wise as the day is long- but we see far too little of her!
Storm Crow is a very nice lady ... she frequents a medical cannabis site quite a bit, I think ... she has a great attitude
what's a mod?
