Thanks Late....you were right
2 plants really liked the change but the other 3.....o nelly
Flushed as reccommended and reduced nutes
If there is roots growing out of the bottom of the pot is it ok to take off the yellow/dying leaves or just leave them on till they fall off?? Only the top will be left eventually but root growth means its alive, right?!
lame newbe question but......
one more newbe question.......
if bag seeds were sprouted in dirt (those plastic trays with the little 2 inch pockets) is there a way to transplant those into a hydro medium?? or just grow/sex/clone into rockwool?
Thanks for any replies
you really need a ph meter that will read below 6.2 and adjust your ph to the 5.5 to 6 range part of your problems could be ph related a ppm meter would help also but ph meter is the most important.
as per the nutes taken right from the back of a bottle seedlings 1g1m1b and veg growth 3g2m1b your plants may of been a little young for that ratio it isnt uncommon for them to need the 3-2-1 ratio at 3 - 4 weeks old.
sometimes different strains will have different nutrient requirments so it can be hard to keep all the plants healthy if using a common reservoir and the same strength nutrients for all the plants.
I plant the dirt sprout in the center of the 4.5x4.5 rockwool cube. Where the hole is...
If you start your seeds in peat...gently place them in vessel filled w/room temperature water, and gently swish them around to loosen the peat...then gently place them in netpot and backfill with hydroton.
