How Long Are Clones Sensitive To Light?

If im starting from a clone, do I even need 6100 K lights for vegging or will I be okay with 2700's the whole way through?

(I have 2 42 Watt CFL's and a 23 Watt CFL)|

Thats good enough for a clone right?

my clones are 2 1/2 weeks old. are they still light sensitive? i got 2 1000w light systems.

Yeah, lol. Mine are still a little frail, but the top growth is all green and healthy. Man, they shock quite a lot there. I was stupid enough to repot two of them and just flushed the hell out of the third, I think the soil may have been too acidy too, and the flushed, third one has taken the lead.

I'm giving them a couple of hours a pop under the lamp now, then moving them away to rest.

Someone should do a guide on lighting and other conditions for cloning. I think all I've ever read on the subject is how to remove clones and keep them alive, but not much on the rather delicate process of their first weeks in the pot.

when you have clones keep the light quite far away and lower little by little your plants as you know will tell when their happy and when there not.good luck;)

Brooke, are you r roots healthy and white..?

Do you have solid NEW growth on the top of the plant?

If yes, then ADD light.. lots of ight.. if you are concerned about burning, start the light at a safe distance away from your foliage and then slowly lower it.. ALSO have a fan blowing in the room...
