sorry i was mistaking alternating nodes as one leaf grows out of the side of the plant instead of two fan leaves shooting out at the same time on the opposite sides of the plant, again forgive my ignorance. And thanks for your advice.

I started my afghan into flowering after 4 weeks.Ihas 5 alternating nodes at 10 inches high.If it is a female I will return it to 24 hour lighting and grow it bigger.
Yes. Starting too early for flowering can really have an adverse effect on your plants. Instead of them producing bigger and better buds, they will not have the chance to create flowers with fuller bloom because they started abruptly.

Hydroponics rocks!
When you start to veg a plant indoor in Febuary then place outdoor for the season. The final results are amazing, but if you start um in early june, they just cant get big enough. if you are looking for that 1/4 pounder. hope that helps. the longer you veg the better your chances at a great yield

see! For the average smoker or patient. I think it is easier to start 10-15 good fems in feb indoors. Less will be more. Less plants to tend to less work.etc... 10 plants started in feb. Will out yeild 10 started in june by double. Allows you to cut down number of plants without having to give up yield..Of course all fators depend on proper maintenance throughout the plants life...
