No, they're just as good as any pipe! I've bought several pipes and I'm getting a new one soon (keep losing them when im stoned), I'll post pics.

exactly correct on the bubbler part! but dude those prices are like half what i pay, like 20-35 for a pipe, 50-70 for a nice bubbler, 90-110 for an incredible bubbler. but then again i have a doubbler ($160 and it rips way harder then any bong ( besides roors or anything with a perc)

wow im sorry bro but someone ripped you off for 40 dollars for that. im sure it hits good though. and fyi there isnt color changing glass what is done is the glass blower simply "fumes" the glass with silver or gold and this makes the glass have a color changing effect when resin builds up

You didn't necessarily overpay. There are some pipes like that which are definitely worth $40. Sure, you can get a cheap, manufactured, thin piece of glass for $5, but a nice hand-blown pipe can be worth hundreds. I'm not saying I would buy a pipe for that much, but you usually get what you pay for.

That being said, like any kind of art, its really easy to get ripped off too.

I think that you should of payed $30 for the most for that. Anyways though, that pipe i know is bad ass because my friend has one of those that looks almost the same (different color-blue) and it hits like a champ man. So yeah, good find. :thumbsup:
