40 is expensive for that, but whatever you have it now. One thing you might like later on is a longer stem, it looks pretty small but that's cool. for me, 4-5 inches gives me the best smoke

why do smoking accessories cost so much everywhere?

at my local smoke shop, a pipe = $5.00. Yes, even the one you got. The most expensive thing I've ever seen was a $60.00 bong but it was some next-level shit with the ice catcher, a SYSTEM of carbs, and then some trippy designs and it was big too.

Oh and, if you burn on your own and kick nice long sessions, get yourself a bubbler. You won't regret it. It knocks the hell out of using the pipe.

Damn, those are some cheap pieces. Are they good quality or just some thin junkity garb? Sounds crazy though. Think the local headshop sells pipes similar to the one above for about $40 but of course you can always barter with them.

Not a bad piece, although I'm having trouble seeing if it has a carb or not on it? For $40 I would hope so, around Massachusetts you can find a piece like that for around $20. It would be interesting to see the varying rates on pieces and such depending on location.
