When I was a kid, and sometimes even now, I can do what they call 'luminousity' (I think that's what they call it), where you can leave your body at will. I used to look down on myself, and even wander around the house and stuff. I have since found out that what I was doing was quite dangerous, because I didn't set myself up with a 'life-line'; ie, you should always have a means to return, or you'll get 'lost'.

MJM, sheesh, not quite the same thing that happens to me. Does it rule your life, ie, do you fear going to sleep?

That sleep apnea thing, you say you get dreams of drowing or being strangled, do you actually struggle for breath in ure dreams and you can feel your lungs tightening? and its like ure trying to breath but somethings stopping you? like if you tried to breathe through plastic? I've had a lot of dreams like that, its not a nice feeling, I didn't know that was sleep apnea though. I had a dream once I was in a room that was slowly filling with water and I couldn't breathe, and I got the tightness thing and trying to breathe and I woke up feeling out of breath. Is that sleep apnea?

musta been black ice on the highway eh resinate? every time i hear about one of my buds rolling a car it sucks, but it seems to happen relatively often without anyone getting hurt =o)

i myself had a pretty crazy near death experience a few years back at a house party...

Heres how it went; me and my crew are security for one of the guys girlfriends house party. Everything was cool until the freshmen batch of football players form our highschool showed up and tried to talk shit to some fools. I was the only enforcer in the living room at the time, puffin on a nice gram and a 1/2 blunt when i hear these fools start up... Theres 3 little jocks standing in front of some other youngins that are sitting on a really plush couch LoL

Now then, I'm a big mofo, well over 200lbs and I like to fight. So as I'm walkin towards em, I tell em that they better get the fuck out. One of the kids stepped up and got in my path so i casually put his lights out with a jab. Now everyone in the living room gets all excited cause everyone realized some shit was about to go down... Jocks two and three barely got to turn around before I dropped em, #1 with a hit to the kidneys and #2 with a punch to the jaw. Ten minutes later, they where removed to the neighbors front yard LoL

an hour or two after that, one of my homies tells me somethings going down in the living room again, and whatever her name was wants us to stop it. So back to the living room I go. Theres a dozen fools brawling in there, so I dive right in!

now heres the good part (i guess)... I can't even remember what happened after I went into the living room cause I got the hell beat outta me with a baseball bat. When i finally came too, my head was wrapped up and I was freezing to death cause i was laying on an Ice pack, a rag with ice in it was on my head and another freakin ice pack was being held against my left shoulder by one of my friends as he blew smoke in my face LoL My home boy JW told me that I was heaving a dude off of him when another guy smacked me right in the lower back with a aluminum bat (ouch!!) I ofcourse dropped the dude i was picking up, then wheeled on my attacker in time to catch another blow with my shoulder. I grabbed the dude my his hair and threw him face first on the ground then started to turn towards another guy with a bat... but he smacked me right in the side of the head. BINK, i dropped. I have a nice scar where he connected too.

anyhow, I remember seeing everyone fighting... I could recall who dropped who and whatnot, but i didnt remember being in the fight at all. it was pretty surreal. hope ya'all enjoyed that :D

my 2 cents-
i was having a quiet one under my favorite tree when a dark flash flew above me and zoomed into the distance.
i wasnt too stoned and rareley see anything anymore except for spiders which i have a billion of anyway.
i said to myself -well that was weird, looked like a flying reaper-felt a little unsettled. next day i heard an old school mate topped himself in a japanese hotel.
now i dont read into these things too much but it was strange all the same.

the only thing that I can recall that gave me a perfectly crystal clear look at life was having a gun pointed at my face... thats do or die time right there. When Res said he was at peace, thats how ya feel when you know your about to make a decision thats going to decide your existence. Thats how i felt when i had a gun pointed at me... when crazy ass people where blasting on the neighbors pad though, i was just straight up scared though LoL dont wanna catch a stray, u know? :p

I only ever had one fight in my life (proper one, anyways)...it lasted about 10secs, and scared the shit out of me.
This boxer dude thought that he wanted to pit himself against my kung-fu. I didn't want none of it, so walked away (watching my shadow as I walked). As I watched my shadow, I could see his fist coming towards the back of my head - I moved my head forward, but not quite enough, and he put a glancing blow across the back of my head. For reasons that will take too long to explain here, I am particularly sensitive to being hit on the back of the head (abusive step-father), and I lost it.
My mate, who was standing just away from it all, said afterwards that he'd never seen anyone strike so fast...I hit the bloke twice in the face, and then 5 times more before he hit the floor lol...boxing my arse lol.
But afterwards, I was, like, shaking like a mofo...scared the shit out of me, because every blow I delivered had to be 'redirected', as they were killing strikes.
