I used the 3M brand of spray glue and I also have drywall on the walls too. No problems with mold either.
Say you want to move...just rip that Mylar off the wall and use a textured paint to cover up the glued areas. Also found at the HD.
I found Hot glue to work well for hanging mylar!
a staplegun worked great last time I used mylar. I plan on using flat white paint or foylon this time
Mount the mylar on heavy card stock or poster board. Then nail, tack, staple, etc...that onto your wall. Better to overlap pieces too instead of butting them together...makes for a better seam.
Thats how it is a friend's...to date...no problems with mold.
