I've thought about that tons of times (sober), and I always thought I was just being weird.

This also might explain the fucked colours you see on an acid trip. You brain is so fucked that it cant interperate the colours right. Also try to think of a colour that dosnt exist. Im not saying a mixing of colours but a totally brand new colour. You cant.
For the record, color blindness doesn't have much to do with perception of color. It's a problem with a person's genetics and eyeball biochemistry. It usually effects guys because it's an x-linked trait, and guys have only one x chromosome, so if it's messed up, you're screwed, while girls have two x chromosomes - almost like a backup if one is messed up. What happens normally in an eyeball is that light of different wavelengths (i.e. colors) come in and zaps these photoreceptors called cones. There are three types of cones - those that are primarily effected by red, blue and green light. When light of that color (i.e. wavelength) hits the cone, an electrical signal is generated and goes down a nerve to our brain, which then interprets that as color. When you are color blind you have a messed up ratio of the different red/green/blue cones.
This reminds me of the first time I got stoned and started talking to a group of freshman college students about Hydrogen Bonding in DNA and how cool it is.
Yeah, I am one of those nerdy stoners sometimes.
...hydrogen bonding in dna....wow I never think past food when I am stoned lol
color blind?

Listen to zalami.
EDIT: oh by the way i can think of 9 colors that don't exist. Maybe i'll tell you how you can too someday.
hahahaha fuckkk i was just thinking the same thing last week man!
Ah, this was something for me to ponder about when i wasnt even in school yet(or maybe a bit after i started school, i dunno). Back then it was weird, now its a pretty normal thought.
If you would take that to a further level, what if EVERYTHING was a big scheme? What if everything you could perceive would be perceived differently by someone else, but doing the deed n.1 would always still have the same effect? I mean, if you petted someones head, who knows what the fuck you would be doing really. And when the reaction to that would be what you would think it would be, would only be because you perceived it as such. I mean, in reality you would be doing something entirely different, but doing that deed always would have the same kind of an echo to it, meaning the outer world would respond with its way, but you would just perceive it differently.
Unlikely, but think about it. Its possible, sort of like the...what was that philosopher again that talked about the shadow world and stuff? You know, the cave example thing? My text was a bit confusing, perhaps, but i mean a similiar thing.
Im just too tired.:(
