K what Im about to write think about really hard, it will change your outlook on what youve known your whole like to be true.

Alright look at a colour around you, any colour. Like say the boarder of site, its green right? Youve known it that colour to be green your entire life, you know what green looks like. Now think, what if what your eyes are showing you green, now think what if what you know the colour looks like isnt the same thing that someone elses brain is telling them green. Let me explain, like what you see and green, might look like purple to them (what you see as purple), or some colour you couldnt even begin to imagine. But you both know what green looks like to them. So both your concepts of green were differant. Now think would this also explain colour blindness, and why people have differant colour cordination.

Just think about it for awhile, let it all sink in.

i know exactly what your talking about....ive been through it many times with mates when we were skunked.....but surely if someone saw different colours (though called them the saME) that would have everyone having diffeerent and pretty fucked up views of reality and the world.....it would be like a constant fucked acid trip.....the sky and the grass(hehe) might clash hurting your eyes......the other thing is if your right, what the fuck does it mean when people are colour blind???????

It's nothing new. I've thought about it a lot already, and I'm sure lots of people have considered it. But yeah, that will get you thinking pretty hard.

My friend brings this up all the time. It is false, though. Scientists have measured the wave-lengths of the colors we see and have proven that we are all viewing the same shades of color. So, science has already proven that we are all looking at the same thing.

Also, the colors that go together wouldn't work any more. Anyone who has taking an art class knows that purple and yellow match, green and red match, black and white match, and orange and blue match. If my blue was your purple, then suddenyl "blue and orange" would NOT look good to you.

"Dont you think blue and orange go together real well?" (notice how a lot of bill-boards and adverts use that color scheme... it's appealing to the eye)

"what the fuck? no. they look wack as fuck"

The reason no one says that, is because were infact all seeing the same thing.

I believe everyone has thought about this I think about it every other day because I am a bit of a theorist...but yea its a very complex Idea and thats why I belive different people have different views of beauty because I see things that I think are beautiful and yet they are ugly to others the letter "P" might look like a "Q" to someone else...its all a state of mind
