See the thing is, I need to cut in the middle not from the side in. My brother said hes gonna buy the jigsaw blade and use it on my cousin's jigsaw. I hope it works.
Then you've just got to drill some holes so that you can stick the jigsaw blade in there and start cutting.
Man, if only I knew someone with a plasma torch :( Cuz even with a jigsaw it's going to be hard cutting a perfect 4" circle and two 2" circles.
you can get a jigsaw for 10 bucks at the pawn shop...I bet you can get one for under 20 bucks from harborfreight or northern tools.:thumbsup:Quote:

If you try to snip that thick of metal...you will have a mess...trust me, it is better to wait and get the right tool for the job, Imho...
They do make drill bits for cutting out circles.
I doubt they'd have a 4" bit :DQuote:

actually, you can buy a wholesaw that is 4" at Tru-Value...
circle does not have to be perfect...you are putting flange over it, aren't you?
its not actually a pointed bit but looks more like a short cup with teeth on the endQuote:
