Help! Lost the laughs!

yea man good post, i no the feeling of losing those great memories of your first times and the laughs and jokes that jus dont seem funny any more. i agree with slipknot man u hav to realise the other benfits of cannabis and as u grow older u change as a person so the effects will obviosly change too, think were not those lil kids any more passin round 1 joint.lol.

bud in the uk is normally always high grade , top stuff. hardly ever shwagg. i always get the nicesest strains living rite on the coast , boat loads strait from the dam.

dude, embrace the mellow high. thats my favorite feeling. i smoke almost everyday...i have missed one day since thanksgiving. and i still get the laughs quite a bit...ive smoked since i was 14 and im 18 now

Anyways, I have taken a lot of the advice you guys are giving me and I plan to try to embrace marijuana for what it's currently giving me, a different perspective on many things. I am a big fan of football, and sometimes I sit and watch Monday Night Countdown and everything they say seems so intellectual and rich. The play breakdowns and all of that make so much more sense, and I think that is the sort of thing you guys use marijuana for, to understand concepts from many different perspectives and views. I plan on embracing this high, and maybe then a good old laughing fit will come around when I least expect it to.

By the way, I am 17 years old. It's interesting to hear that most people go through this change around 19-23 though, makes me feel good about myself! :D

Anyway, yeah sometimes you reach little peaks where you seem to grow up. Try doing more mind-intense activities while high, and experimenting (oh so carefully) with other psychotropics, mainly hallucinagens.

Yeah, I'm going through the exact same thing as you are. I'm sure it has some to do with hormones and growing up and all that jazz as well. I still get the giggles when I smoke with friends, but when I smoke alone it's definitely a lot more thoughtful and mellow.

wait til it starts happening even when you're around friends... i had to find new smoking friends because i "grew up" and my friends didn't and they just seemed so fuckin ignorant i didn't wanna be around them anymore. i mean of course it used to be funny, but laughing at words such as penis, terd, fart and all that is only funny for so long, then it's just irritating...

ok well i sujest using a different smoking device, like maybe a grav bong. and defnitly do it with one or more reaaallly good friends. and like slipknowtsyko said, you really dont need to be laughing your ass off and losing control. if you want that, try huffing laughing gas or something

some a bunch of resin and youll get laughing again

Certain people i'm around I get the laughs. But around people who just laugh at any fucking thing it's boring. I like to relax and watch tv or study for school, but with them if I don't laugh at they're shit they keep saying shit like "DUDE WHATS WRONG WITH YOU" etc. So it gets boring/irritating.
