Does cannabis open the door to class A,s
using canabis will always lead to some of us using harder drugs, whilst it is in the same bracket of ilegal drugs as h & c and more importantly whilst you have to go to drug dealers to buy it well done to daima it is lack of pot that makes you buy something else though i'm not too sure about the apple thing i started with apples

How can you say "using canabis" will always lead to ...?
Dummy.
Most users of heroin, LSD and cocaine have used marijuana. However, most marijuana users never use another illegal drug.
Over time, there has been no consistent relationship between the use patterns of various drugs. 83
As marijuana use increased in the 1960s and 1970s, heroin use declined. And, when marijuana use declined in the 1980s, heroin use remained fairly stable.
For the past 20 years, as marijuana use-rates fluctuated, the use of LSD hardly changed at all.
Cocaine use increased in the early 1980s as marijuana use was declining. During the late 1980s, both marijuana and cocaine declined. During the last few years, cocaine use has continued to decline as marijuana use has increased slightly.
In 1994, less than 16% of high school seniors who had ever tried marijuana had ever tried cocaine - the lowest percentage ever recorded. In fact, as shown below, the proportion of marijuana users trying cocaine has declined steadily since 1986, when a high of more than 33% was recorded.
But, this is just an excerpt.

using cannabis will alwaz lead some to harder drugs? that dont make sense(to me).
That suggests that if any one of us ever decide to try pot and then try somethinbg else than it was pot that caused that decison. I am here to tell you that the world is full of drug users that never touched pot. What do you suppose their "gateway" drug was? Dont say "curiosity" because thats not a drug.
You see, most of us humans have always been curious and many of us has never settled for the status quo. Many of us humans thrive at the possibility of being able to alter our minds, conscience, and opinions. Fake boobs alters one mind also.
Try bungeee jumping, or kayaking down a white water river. This bullshit that cannabis is wrong and dangerous doesnt serve anyone but religious freaks and prohibitionist, and alcohol industry, etc etc.

think your right scobbie about it being a personal choice thing, the government blame cannabis for the rise in class A users yet fail to grasp the concept that its illegality brings alot of users into contact with dealers that don`t just sell cannabis. The younger users being particularly vulnerable to peer pressure an the likes or itching to try other drugs are going to take them and if you play with fire your goin to get burnt...at least singed a bit . I was 15 the first time i seen a guy shootin up in a house i was in buying some hash, a year later i was shootin up toot an takin more of my nanas jellies than she was , buying peoples scripts an shit . FUCKSAKE ALL I WANTED WAS A HALF QUART!!!!!!!!...................I now only partake in fine herb. LEGALISE CANNABIS AND STOP BRINGING OUR YOUTH INTO CONTACT WITH CLASS A AND THE RISE IN CLASS A USAGE WILL START GOING DOWN........doh!!!!

I asked my friend what his thoughts were about pot being a gateway drug.
His reply:
"pot is not a gateway drug. you do other drugs by other peoples influence, or maybe simply your choosing. you can not blame pot for peoples decisions."

I'm from Motherwell mate, I know exactly what you mean about the complete lies that get told about weed in this not so great nation of ours.
I've been smoking weed for 10 years now and I'm not addicted to anything and niether has it made me go mental as others claim too.
I have tried other harder drugs e and coke but I never feel that irresistible urge to keep on going ,I can take them or leave them.
I think addiction is entierly linked to your own personality, not weed.
Well done for coming off the crap scobbie, must have been incredibly hard, I've seen so many of my friends fall down that hole and never get back out.

The only way weed can get you into Class A's is through being forced to assocciate with drug dealers who may have more on offer then a bit of bud.
