Addiction sucks^^ especially when you get addicted to DXM (me) Withdrawal is horrible, and you either want to kill yourself, or change your mood by taking another trip, until after your feeling even worse than before. I cold turkeyed that shit months ago, and i've done it since but in low, recreational doses. Don't get addicted to ANYTHING. It leaves you with the worse feelings ever.

Try coming to America and listen to how, when Republicans are challenged, they get defensive and attack instead of giving a simple explanation or admitting that they might be wrong. Republicans in this country are sort of like the people who think they're always right and will beat the shit out of anyone who tries to say otherwise.

Of course, that's the majority of Republicans up on Capitol Hill. The normal people are all pretty cool, no matter the political label.

Here's what I don't get-- is the opposition really arguing that there is something inherent in the nature of marijuana that, chemically speaking, makes you want to try other drugs? I cannot possibly see how any drug in its very chemical nature could have that property.

That's like saying that there is something chemically inherent in chicken meat that makes you want to eat human meat--it just ain't so!

I will concede that more people try marijuana as a gateway to the world of illegal drugs than try cocaine, but there's nothing inherent in the nature of marijuana that it must be so. That's simply a result of marijuana being popular and easy to acquire, both of which are merely societal conditions, and of marijuana being a relatively harmless, approachable drug: a good reason to legalize it, not to ban it!

every gov't agency and anti-drug organization thinks that weed is a gateway drug because thats what we all try first. Ever heard of anyone who never smoked weed going straight for the black tar heroin? Probably not

i am here to tell you all that it isnt pot that leads to harder drugs. It is the lack of pot that leads to other drugs.
Personally speaking ? I started out on milk. from there as i got older it was kool aid. The next fucking thing i knew i was doing orange juice and eating fucking apples.
i have no complete memery of just exactly how it got so out of control. my mind is still nothing but the eventual blur of what would become my resse cup addiciton. Fuckin milk~~~~~
