My mum, last time she had a talk with me about weed said "If you carry on smoking, in a year or 2 you'll have overdosed on heroin." It pissed me off that she said that, and the fact she wouldn't listen to what I was trying to say.

Yeah, my parents always ask me to do hard things when I'm hi, it's very annoying.

True true...But you gotta understand, my mum knows absolutely NOTHING about drugs....I mean for her, shes just unenlightened and inexperienced in drugs, full stop. But i wouldn't go as far as saying she was intellectually dishonest.

But maybe when I land that 6 figure job, I might explain to her...

Same here, my mum's favourite song is The Stranglers - Golden Brown and I asked her the other week if any of them had died, and she said yes, probably from drug overdose, so I told her that her favourite song was about heroin, and she said "What's it about? About when you trip on heroin" and I couldn't help but let out a little giggle, just so she realised she hadn't a clue.

My mums only problem is me being caught with weed. Thats the only problem because she knows its better for you than alcohol and she used to use it for pain relief so it would be rather stupid for her to be against it.
