wut! dont even think of flowering a perfectly good bubblgum plant at 7 inches especially under that weak light you have! it wouldent matter so much if you had at least a 150w of light but it is just a waste of a plant and a waste of your time to even attempt to flower that. if i were you i would keep on veging it until you get a bigger light to flower it. otherwise i would be happy to take it off your hands!
go either with the 400w mh or at least 2 more 43 real watts cfl's. cool white would be better for this stage.
Well I get two more 100w cfls. I will maybe consider flowering slightly later then 7 inch if I am not gonna get anything from it. I've only actually spent about £8 on this grow. (Which is really tight of me I know)
Heres my Day 11 shots-
Thoughts, would be mucho respected...
My question would be what is the brown stuff on the bottom of the stalk???
Can you take a pic of her in her environment?? What are you doing for airflow? She's looking good but with some simple improvements you could make her life much more pleasurable :) I see you mist her, that's good. But for even better results, add the following to a 2 liter bottle:
1 Teaspoon active dry yeast (available at your local grocery store)
1 Liter warm water
Now shake until the yeast is fully dissolved. Then, add:
2 Cups sugar
And shake again. Then, add a final 1/2 liter of water and give one last shake until everything is dissolved. You'll see bubbles rising to the top of the bottle.. That's co2. Plants take in c02, and emit oxygen, which in turn makes the plant grow.. Place one or two of these units in her home and she will thank you for it :) But only use during her lit hours as plants only perform photosnythesis when light is provided.. You will notice an increased growth rate over the next few days.. You should be getting one set of leaves (not to when they're visible, I mean when they are tough, MATURED leaves) every two days to say the least.. Anyway give it a try man It'll definitely make a difference.
Peace :D
Woow, that mixture would make like a bath load how can I make like a smaller ammount of that,
1/3 teaspoon yeast (is that the bread stuff),
1/3 litre warm water
Shake it up till dissolved
then 0.6 cups a sugar and shake again. then add more water, kay thats fine.
I spray this on the plant yes? Not feed it at the bottom?
No, I am sorry I worded it like I meant spray it on.. just put the listed amounts into a 2 liter, and place it in your grow room, or make a few of them.. can't hurt to have more. You'll see little bubbles rising out of the concoction once its all mixed up. That's co2. Check it regularly, and when it stops bubbling, add another 2 cups of sugar. This will give you a constant (although unmeasurable) flow of co2. But remember co2 is lighter then air thereore the top of the bottle MUST be at a higher point then the plants.. or else they will not uptake any co2.
Cheers
Yes, the bread stuff :)
If it needs the uptake should the top of the bottle not be under the plants? I open the lid, right?Quote:
