Awesome album cover of Dark Side of the Moon.
If a cover is done well and taken to a new level, it's cool, I just hate covers that have no artristy to it, like Korn's "Another brick in the wall."
No-one can ever copy Pink Floyd (Best Band Ever!) Those who attempt to copy, shall inevitably fail and shall be pooped on.
There are some pretty good cover bands out there... Me First and The Gimmie Gimmies do some great oldies.
But i'll agree, alot of bands can just butcher great songs.. making them very hard to listen to.
For a great laugh, check out Richard Cheese.. it's the dude from The Man Show
Any reggae heads on this? Ever heard Easy Star All-stars reggae cover of Pink Floyd's dark side of the moon?ESAS made a album called Dub Side of the Moon.Gooooooooooood shit, and I don't think anyone likes nu-metal.
Sorry didn't see someone already talked about the dub side of the moon.
music nowadays has certainly gone down hill. there will never be anything as great as the original musicians. unless of course it's the dub side of the moon, which was amazing by the way.

i mean...some covers are decent...but i think that some songs should remain untouched...like crossroads by the cream, i dont even like that song being remastered...the tone of clapton is so beautiful...
