Mojavpa, you're right, sex sells. But I think the only reason sex sells is because it's considered 'naughty'. Music videos and commericals go as close as they can to crossing the line and this sells because we have been so sexually repressed for such a long time that it is appealing to us. If sex was just treated as it is then nudity would not neccesarily be related to sex.

When my daughter is 15 she is not going to care about the law as you have pointed out....but the 23 year old boy sniffing arround her "will" think about the law.....or I will remind him.

most people don't understand the seriousness of having sex - fourteen years old or twenty-one years old.
i believe, and not because i'm a virgin, that sex should be had with someone you love and care for. love, though not understood by anyone, takes time. so, for me to have sex it would have to be with a woman that i feel i can share the rest of my life with, although hormones do inspire me to get experience beforehand. i still think that the woman that ends up with me will surely understand and be more than happy to experience me in the ways of having sex. i'm a hopeless romantic.
i'm willing to wait, and if your a virgin you should be able to. i mean, you don't even know what your missing, so how can you want it so bad?

I disagree, sex sells because either it feeds a fetish or it represents what has become or is considered "beauty". Unfortunately. The fat fifty year old guy with lots of money spends his money on the hot twenty year old stripper- that's not naughty. Teen girls stick their fingers down their throats and puke because they are trying to look like what the TV tells them is sexy. It goes on and on, but, I don't know too many Americans who are still sexually repressed. It's just become something we all need like SUVs, plasma TV's, 47 pairs of shoes, and big fake boobs.Quote:
