ok so i had a buddy come over and look at the plant that's droopy and the one that was dead in a brush pile he said it had oak worms eating it and that's what did it any one have any ideas on oak worm problems
oak worms eat the leaves on oak trees or other hardwoods, is this what is happening?
The leaves are being ate but only a few leaves and he said the stem on the other plant had what looked like it had eaten through the middle of the stem and up the plant killing it but what's weird is the plant die's almost overnight at this point it is finding what's causing it and stoping it from happening to the other 10 plantsQuote:

You need to do some detective work and find the place where the damage is being done exam the stalk of the dead plant for holes then open it up and find out what happened, then you can do something until then you're just guessing. See if you have a local master gardeners club or ag extension service.
