My current grow I used the 6 month MG and had a hell of a time with the seedlings. Never had the problem before the 6 mo. garbage.
I got 'em straightened somewhat and then transplanted them in MG 2 month organic and then got the dreaded black fly's!
I'm done with MG.
I found a place nearby that has Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Seen a lot of good reviews about it.

I'd say go for the Fox Farm Ocean Forest if you have ready access to it, hell yes.

Absolutely, but also check the bag of perlite and make sure it isn't supplemented with nutrients too. I think I last time I paid around 15 bucks each for 2 cu. ft. bags of regular perlite at the local Home Depot.

I'm using Miracle-Gro Premium Potting Mix
This one:
Miracle-Gro - Miracle-Gro Premium Potting Mix - 60.5 Litre - 73786300 - Home Depot Canada
Is this a 'time release' nute soil? Or is it just regular soil?
Sorry, since the thread topic changed to soil thought I would ask:)

Can't tell by looking at the picture. Try reading the other side of the bag.

The back have a list of 'ingredients' and says Nitrogen 0.14 and two other chems and they are both 0.14 and beside that it says time release. And it also says enough to feed for 9-12 month then you should change the soil. But the bag itself doesn't say it is a time release soil or how long really like other bags I have seen which as it in big letters across the front.
Any Ideas?
