How to Clean your bowl/pipe (PROS)
If it is glass the best thing to use is acetone, and if you don't have any or don't want to buy any then take your gf/wife/mom nail polish remover as it is virtually the same thing, works better then alcohol and don't worry it is highly volatile so you won't be smoking it, trust me it cleaned almost anything stuck inside a beaker/flask when I was taking organic chemistry....

acetone damn, yeah it works but there is no need for such extremes, 90% ISO and some salt enzymes like in the coarse salt works great, and it cost like 5 dollars and last like 2 months. takes minutes to clean, if its a dry piece I soak for a while but still quick

Yea i use boiling water from a kettle and then q tips in the bowl hole and get as much rez as i can out as i swirl it around. Cleaning sucks but it's necessary unless you wanna get sick. The more often you do it the less there'll be to clean but sometimes it's easier just to keep blazing lol.

Actually you dont want to use Acetone on your glass pipes because it can remove the fuming from the inside of your glass pieces. And who wants to smell that crap.we use that shit at work to clean parts with after machining them,no damn way I wanna use that crap at home.Harsh chemicals may take less time, but do the job right right with the proper stuff.:jointsmile:

If you just have a clear glass it works fine, will have no affect on it, its not that harsh, that is like water compared to some of the chemicals I used... you are not soaking it in it just rinsing for a min or so and then rinse it out with water...Cheers....:rasta:
A Little FYI...
Acetone is naturally produced and disposed of in the human body as a result of normal metabolic processes. In fact, the body naturally increases the level of acetone in pregnant women, nursing mothers and children because their higher energy requirements lead to higher levels of acetone production. The medical community is now using ketogenic diets that increase acetone in the body to reduce epileptic attacks in infants and children who suffer from recalcitrant refractory epilepsy.
