they look real good ;)
you say you are watering 4 times a day now, what was the previous watering??
sorry if I missed it, I do alot of reading and sometimes it just all blends together :wtf:

In my previous grow and with Tray #1 on this grow...I was watering my plants three times per day. I decided to see what the difference in bud growth would be if I put tray #2 watering 4 times per day...just to experiment a little bit with the variables. What can I say...it was a major difference in the bud growth and density of the buds.
So I switched all my feedings to 4 times per day at 15 minute intervals. I am seeing a huge difference in the plants over the last 2 weeks since I switched. I would recommend this to people using drip system only for their feeding set-up. Only when you put into flower, to increase bud yield.
Also...I will be starting to flush next week for tray #1. Will put it at 8 weeks...and I will let the tray for 10 weeks total. To get the purple madness to completely take hold in the girls.
And...yes I miss Dave Chappelle...and remember, "its not chocolate...its doo doo baby."

Marty,
In a different post you said something about do not water during dark period, could you elaborate on this as I cant remember hearing about this before now.

Hey tiny...So watering during dark periods is a bad idea. At first I thought watering at night seemed like a a scientifically intelligent decision. They would absorb more, grow quicker, etc. This is simply not the case.
Plants, like humans, exert most of their energy during the day. They need to fuel themselves with feedings to keep their energy level up during their 12 or 18 hours of daylight. Just as it is important to humans...rest is necessary. The lack of work at night (exerting energy to absorb nutrients through feedings) is beneficial to the plants overall growth during daylight hours...not to mention they will stretch more at night too! :jointsmile
Plants that are watered at night are simply not rested enough to grow to their full potential during the day. With bud development and veg this is crucial...(seedlings are different).
So...my 2 cents is this. Rest your plants at night. Feed them during the day. It makes sense.

btw, tray #1 yielded about 1.5 pounds...and tray #2 has another week!

I don't give out too many details Overdose. Reason being, you never know who is around watching these forums.
I am running a 1000 watt HPS with a cooltube. Digital ballast. A couple 3x4 trays...plants in planter pots...drips system hydro setup. I use 3 part GH nutes.
Power bill...with just the 1000 watt with all my fans, a/c unit, and deodorizer ...and other misc stuff...I am running at around $150-250 per month. During the summer at least. This fall it has dropped dramatically thus far.
BTW...I harvest my tops 2 weeks ago. 2 lbs....and I am letting the bottoms catch up now. Should be fun...then off to my new set of clones in about 45 days.
