Joe,
Your plants look great! I envy you outside growers...:(

Ripped up my first male! Purps about 5 ft tall. I was going on the stretching idea. I heard that purps males really stretch. 3 of 8 are doing this. I ripped the all green one, the other two are purplish stemmed. I will keep one of them for breeding. Of the other 5, only one is purple, so it or one of its clones will be impregnated. I'm phasing out the all green purps as you can see.
3 of the BCD are showing pistils! But other than that they all look the same. Pray 4 more pistils. I will breed some of these too.
I may also cross purpsxBCD. Could be interesting. Hell, maybe I'll even cross purps or BCD with one of the bagseed plants if I like its traits.
I can't wait to try these strains under my LED indoors. I have a log going on there too.
I added some High N Mexican Bat Guano to the compost tea mix. After all the rain I'm afraid I may have lost some nutes. If not, it won't hurt them.
So one of the bagseed plants which I think is sativa dominant due to its thin bladed leaves is acting up. Some lower leaves are yellowing and dying and some of the healthy leaves are curling up on the edges. I doubt its nute burn cuz I've only fed them what's already in the soil plus a little compost tea. It would've burnt them a long time ago if this was the case.
The plant is growing very vigorously, 1 1/2" main stem at the bottom already. So I wonder if it's not getting enough food. I'm gonna hit it with an extra dose of guano this week to see if that helps. Thoughts anyone?
So It's almost thyme for the Bloom nutes. I'm going to use 1-10-.5 Jamaican Bat Guano thru August and .5-10-? Indonesian Bat Guano thru Sept. Don't quote me on those NPK's.
So I'm wondering if any one knows of an organic stimulant of sorts other than Super Thrive that I may add to boost yields. I read bout someone using a cal-something or other. Just wondering.
My clones are just about ready to plant. A few are showing new leaf growth. They'll have to be planted next week because...well its getting late and I want them to be established in their new homes before their fat juicy buds begin forming.
So the stretching thing may not be so true in regards to the Purps. One of the non-stretchers had balls up the wazoo today. So it's gone, and I'm afraid the stretchy one I ripped up last week could have been fem. Ya just never know.Quote:

Also top dressed them all with a 1partMex.BatGuano-2part Jam.BatGuano blend. They don't need H20 that's for damn sure. They have not had a chance to dry out once this year. Good and Bad I suppose.
those are sexy for being outside why so bushy just let them grow up man
Mazman, I'm using the Screen of Green and Low Stress techniques. You basically train the plant to grow horizontally and then all side branches grow vertically thus producing many "top" colas and increasing yields. This also keeps them shorter which is great for security purposes.
But believe me man I would love to let a few 10+ footers reach for the sky. It's just not very practical here.
