Just leave it be, you keep touching it and throwing stuff on it, it will get infected. Happened to me once, DT's right, top grew massive and tops next to the break took off. It will heal on it's own.

ive only touched it once, that was to put wet toilet paper on it.
it had shown no signs of the bend happening at all.

Hey you old hillbilly, how's that plant doing? Did you tie it up to the ceiling?:) What part of the hills are you from? I live on the O-HI-O (Cherokee for good place to grow), and several others.........Not too far from Metropolis, Home of SuperMan.
I had a plant once and the light fell on it. It broke a big branch almost off. I just left it alone and after a while it healed up. It looked weird. I didn't want to lose the branch but was surprised it wound up ok.
I usually splint it with a toothpick and some tape...it's mcguyver style at its's best...but it works
