Hey fellow Kentuckian: Greetings from the west!

Have you thought about bracing and using some grafting wax?

i have nothing to make a good brace.

    and would braces wax help?

i know i should seal the wound but with what?

should i give it some neosporin, you know to fight infection???

    finally someone from KY!!!!!

im gunna put you on my friend list just for that.

Nah, don't use Neosporin. Google grafting a plant. any basic botany site should have the details. There are several fancy products you can use, but is basically like putting a cast on our arm. I have used bamboo braces and wrapped with grafting tape, then sealed with pruning sealer etc. Sooner the better. If you can take stress off limb by pinning with string to ceiling etc. will help braces hold.

    i know about grafting.

ill throw some wax that you use for braces on it.

i talked to a guy at the local hydro store he said if you can eat it you can use it on your plants.

ive eaten ortho wax and it came out the same way it went in so i guess it will have to do.

I once did the same thing to a StrawberryCough...I hung a strand of fishing leader above and used it to support the stem while it repaired itself...While this was taking place ,near-by branches competed to become the dominant cola and grew some amazingly large tips...I wish I had a digital camera back then because it was quite a sight...
