Pineapples are easy.:D
Buy or pick one.
Twist it's tuft off.
Yank off the bottom leaves and jam it into some dirt.
Or dangle it in some tapwater.
They are eager rooters.

Down side?
They need room! the leaves are sharply pointed and they can grow quite large. I've seen them 5' wide.
They also take about 2 years to fruit.
It's a long term commitment. Do a pre-nup.:D

Had no idea they took so long.... damn... and i love pineapple... eat one about every other month...

for okra you need to make sure you have a strain that is tender and tasty...there are tough stringy strains which are horrible, but i do enjoy a plate of deep-fried okra with some ranch to dip it in :)

i'm thinking about starting a little secondary herb garden within my herb garden, just some basil and thyme but should make the grow room smell nice :D
