This is why you can't debate religion with a religious person. Jesus only turned the other cheek because he knew his daddy was going light the sinner on fire and send him to hell.

On a serious note, people tend to forget why religion was created. Things were getting out of hand with crime. Barabbas was f*cking shit up. So Jesus, being the intellect he was, told everyone that his dad was chillin up in heaven, and the only way to get there was to abide by the 10 commandments for the rest of your boring lives. All religions are based on the same principal: be a nice guy and you will be rewarded in the afterlife. Personally, I'm not interested in 72 virgins. Which is why you should be able to pick your own faith. Or better yet, why not just love each other? You can do this from your own home. No need to go to church and pay tithe.
