What I find that works well is soak the seed for twenty four hours in water and put about the depth of a ballpoint pen nib into a rockwool cube evenly moistened not saturated put it somewhere warm I use a warming tray with cover a healthy seeds will sprout in two or three days sometimes you will find that the husk will be stuck on the top just pop it off with your fingernails. After about a week you can drop the rockwool in soil, perlite what ever you fancy and start giving very weak nutrients. Happy growing!!!
If apartment space is the issue, try DWC.
But used dirt is a no-no. Nooooo!
You can buy smaller bags of dirt if space is an issue, but a 20lb bag of dirt requires MAYBE a 2ft x 2ft space at the most. You could toss it up on a shelf. Throw it in a corner, put it under your kitchen sink, tie it up and slide it under your bed.
There are tons of places you can put a 20lb bag of soil. If you go to some nurseries you can even get smaller bags of soil.
I lived in a very small apartment and I had room for my grow cabinet and a place to keep my dirt/nutrients.
I finally got a sprout!!!!! I havent been stoked about anything this much in a long time. Not just because its marijuana but also because its one of my first plants and im bringing something to life, like its my baby:jointsmile:
Thanks so much guys for your help
you cant buy some cheap ass dirt but you can waste money on seeds:wtf:
