Chongman420-thanks for the thread, I learned a lot and quick. I've had gardens in the past and the hardest part was getting the soil correct, prior to anything! I read all these posts and it just seems like so much work!!! I was thinking, it is a weed. My brother said they found it growing in the wild like a weed in Viet Nam, unattended (well they were the intruding soldiers-so who knows) That was where he first started it!
You all just took a lot of the fear out of my gutt from starting! Been watching and reading so many logs.
The thing with the coco-I did read a log that Weedhound used the stuff and tossed it! I have been reading some threads (I love) about coco and am leaning toward WH's thot's on it. But, damn, I've seen Pufzster's and it rocks!
Chongman--any pix and care to share how and what you've done so far???
Good luck to you, it can't be that hard. I have tossed them randomly in my gardens in the past and they did well, it was me, I did not know what to do, but loved watching them grow! pr

I drop my lines all the time!
Check out 5*White Widow feminized grow Coco; by Puffzter! Then read around Weedhounds and see that vast difference!

Now that I'm in a better state of mind :stoned:, lets try this again. Soil- I usually use Fox Farm Ocean Forest for flowering and Light Warrior for veg. Last time, for flowering, I mixed 2 parts Ocean Forest 2 parts Light Warrior 1 part perlite 1 part of those red clay grow rocks with 3 tsps of high P bat guano and 3 tsps of Plant Success mycorrhizae(sp?). I made enough to fill two 5 gal buckets. Water- I use tap water from the garden hose on the side of my house. It usually has a ph of 7.2-7.4 then I lower it to around 6.7 or 6.8. Nutes- I have Earth Juice grow, bloom, micro and catalyst, Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Grow Big, Calmag, Superthrive, Sweet berry and citrus, high N and high P bat guano, Koolbloom, Plant Success mycorrhizae, Clearex, neem oil, Gnatrol, and some ph related stuff. Obviously, I don't use all of these at once its just stuff I've collected over the years (yes I said years and I'm still having problems). Last grow I just used the Fox Farm grow big for veg and tiger bloom and koolbloom for flowering and clearex to flush. Temps maybe my problem. In my cabinet it sometimes got up to 90F but I was using co2. I know thats still way too hot. I've done a few mods to my exhaust and added 2 large passive intake holes. It made it drop to under 85F. My cabinet is in my basement and I keep the window open letting fresh outside air in. Now that its getting cooler outside temps in the cab have dropped to mid to upper 70s :D Maybe this winter I will have better luck. I'm just really trying to improve taste and bud density. Thanks for reading.

Hey IR, you say that you're visiting family in the midwest? If you happen to roll through the middle of IL you should stop by and give me some pointers on my setup. I could use the help of a pro!:) That could be the perfect job a traveling grow doctor!! "Dr. Reaper":D
