Cannabis and sea-sickness (motion sickness)
I'm totally avoiding OTC meds now. I think I've tried two different ones (for sea-sickness) in my day... and each time was even worse then without the meds. If the cannabis works, that would be very exciting. I would be even more of a legalization proponent then I am now (if that's possible). He'll, I'd probably start donating to NORML every freaking month.
Yesterday I cooked up about a 1/2 tsp. of ground bud in 1/2 tbsp. of olive oil for 20 min. or so. I'm going to try to drink it today and see what happens. If that's a good dose I'll try that next time I go out on a boat. The point is to not get too fried, but to have plenty of the drug to keep me from getting sick. Who knows, that may be too much though. I normally smoke about half that much... I'm a total lightweight.
I think I burnt the cannabis though... so I'm afraid that might have ruined the effects. I cooked it on medium heat and it turned brown... even black. I've since read that you don't need much heat at all with olive oil. Some people just let the bud soak in it for a day! So I guess if this doesn't work I'll try heating it on low instead next time and see what happens.

I took the "cannabolive oil" over 3 hours ago... I don't feel anything... or next to nothing. Either I burnt all the THC out of it or ... I don't know. I tried "activating" it in the oven at 325 degrees for 5 minutes first... like the green dragon recipe in the "concentrates" section says to do. I don't know if that screwed something up.
Next time I'll try it with butter... seems like it is easier to tell when butter gets to hot because it will burn also. Oil can get crazy hot... I guess I just burnt the weed too much. From what I've read low heat and more time might do the trick... I don't know...
