thanx stinky the ppm is 370 i was just changing my water use hard water because hydro store said it would be best i use city water . do you think it would be safe to use the same mix or should i back off nutes a little?

I don't know if you even have a problem at the moment. Really, the new growth looks pretty good from where I sit! I really think the damage to the older leaves is residual from the pH adjustment period of your hydroton. Sure you can try backing off the nutes a hair, since newly-rooted clones don't feed as heavily as established plants. Watch for yellowing lower leaves, indicating hunger, and when/if you see that, work back up again.
Okay, 370 is on the hard side- does your city water utility have a website where you can look up the chemical profile of your tap water and check sodium levels? You should be able to get that information. Again, this is just something that is useful to know when you are starting a hydro (or any) grow with water you have not used to grow before.

Naw, they are mature plants, just without a big ol' root ball yet. Growth mix is correct.
