its not a matter of that college is hard its that if u get kicked out for growing pot u will never get in to a major university again no matter how much money mommy and daddy fork over

If you are attempting to grow at school, chances are you don't have a med card for growing, and would be unable to properly conceal your illegal grow. Even if you did have a card, school would likely call the authorities.

Wow that's interesting. i didn't realize it was legal to grow marijuana if you have a med card. I thought it was still a federal offense. I must be mistaken? Or maybe I just need an ethics class... but how do you not advocate anyone breaking the law?

So not only do we have a punk trying to telll us the law, but a punk that accepts stolen goods, and whines about not being able to cash-in on the larceny.

For one thing, I'm not the child throwing a tantrum because the answers don't fit the answer I wanted. If you chose to risk your education and your future, on growing some stolen weed, you are a moron, and I choose not to be a part of that.

You want to grow the stolen plants (yeah...I believe ya. YOU didn't steal the plants, lol.) of unknown origin, of unknown genetics, in a school dorm? Good luck. Perhaps when you are living back at your parents house, smokin'a a joint on your way to ditching your job at McDonalds, you'll look back at this and laugh. I know I will.

Tell ya what...since I have such a soft spot for thieves and punks...I'll offer some valuable advise...Go sell some of those stolen PS3's, and buy a bag on your way to ditching class again.

Again, I'm not sure what part of my previous post illicited such a negative response from you, but I assure you I don't return the seeming hatred you have towards me. You not giving me advice on growing marijuana isn't the end of the world, nor is it much of a deterent towards my growing. I suppose you'll hate me even more after this post. As a member of these forums, I can factually say that not all of us here on CanCom stomach thieves.

Trying to show society (authorities included) that no, we are not a bunch of thieves, drug dealers and irresponsible school kids is tough enough without someone coming in and proving us wrong.

It isn't hatred...to be honest, it's disdain. (to think unworthy of notice, response, etc..) I really don't appreciate someone coming in, telling me of aquiring a PS3 that was ripped-off from my neighbor, telling me it's ok...you didn't steal it, then asking to borrow a cup of knowledge.

Of course, this is my opinion, and my opinion alone. Anyone else in this forum is free to do as they see fit, and I will respect their decision either way. However, I choose not to further the stigma that has been hefted upon our backs by a society that equates cannabis use with criminal activity.

And what this moderator deems fit is to lock the thread. Not only do we not discuss growing in dorms or parents' houses here, but we also aren't in the business of helping thieves.

Since when is missing over 100 classes something to brag about? 3.0 isn't all that great... I got a 3.0 in college running 22 credits per semester (full time is 12), working 30 hours a week, and graduated a year early. Imagine how well you'd do if you actually concentrated on going to class instead of hanging out with thieves, stealing and growing pot, and playing WOW!

You think a 3.0 as a music major is going to get you far? That's a SUPER competitive field and you'd do better to practice your instrument, and maybe I dunno get a JOB to pay your bills, since you NEED to start building a resume ASAP. Try working as a tutor or a substitute teacher in the local high school's music program.

Ugh. Whatever, this thread is over and I share Rusty's disdain.
