1st time, acquired plant about foot tall

Hey all, I was browsing the forums looking for some grow tips, and I decided this place is helpful enough that I could post a question and hopefully get a productive response!

Basically, I've acquired a gatorade cooler with some plants in it. Let's just say my roomates acquired it from some people who live downstairs, who are known thieves at my college... perhaps this is some small form of payback (they've stolen multiple 360s and PS3s , not a huge deal to me, but I definetly dont feel bad taking their shit)

Anyways, this container has 3 plants about 10 inches tall. I've looked at some grow guides, and so far my plan is to put it on a 12/12 light cycle, 11pm-11am darkness. I'm getting a flourescent tomorrow afternoon, and even thoguh I'm in a college dorm, I think I can ventilate it by opening the doors to my wardrobe 2 or 3 times a day during the light cycle.

Anyways, any advice you can offer on the above plan would be appreciated. Also any tips for watering and fertilizing would be good. I plan to use tap water thats been sitting for 24 hours + to get rid of the chlorine.

my advice is ditch the stolen plants and dont try to grow in your college dorm.

I agree. You'll do those plants a big favor if you find them a nice spot oudoors to spend the summer.

college costs alot and im poor so i had to find a way to pay for it thats one of my ways. it sounds alright except for the dorm thing and try to get a grow spectrum light. and off campus housing

I'm guessing you don't major in ethics?

I'm a music major who maintains a 3.0, smokes everyday, plays wow all day while listening to Brahms and Mahler, missed over a hundred classes last semester and still kept that 3.0. Ethics isn't my major, but my gut tells me stealing is bad. But there's no remorse in this situation.

Again, if college was that difficult for you people I understand your tentiveness to help me out here.

It's not about reluctance. It's about prudence. I personally refrain from assisting those that attempt to grow in inappropriate situations. Those that think they can pull-off a small grow in places like up in their parents attic, school dorms, planters in the mall, apartments, (with managers or maintenance personel
having implied authorization to inspect premises) behind the jail...these folks generally get themselves busted, and I don't advocate anyone breaking the law.
If you are attempting to grow at school, chances are you don't have a med card for growing, and would be unable to properly conceal your illegal grow. Even if you did have a card, school would likely call the authorities.
