HELP!! will some1 pls help me correct my mistake

I'm not sure what you mean but if you are talking about a peat pellet or 'gro-dan' or the like, then yes it could make a difference.
Your roots may not have reached the soil yet, which would explain how they could have lots of nutes in the soil, but not be uptaking it into the plant.
Did you see roots before you planted?
It doesn't matter. the rootone and micorrhizae should help in either case if root development is the problem.
Also, your soil looks a bit heavy for rooting seedlings. Roots need oxygen to grow. Next time add some coco fiber for loft, and perlite for drainage.

they still look a bit small to be adding nutrients even at 1/4 strength. especially with miracle gro soil you dont want to be jam packing it with extra fertilizer as the soil comes pre fertilized. try using plain water when you feed for a while. also note that with cfl's like that your plant is going to grow just a little bit slower.

Nute burn, nute burn. Seedlings don't need nutes. Give them nutes after the third or fourth set of leaves have developed.

But the pics don't look like nute burn. They look like poor nute uptake.

i think i agree with the nute burn theory. i am a bit excited about the first grow and probably over did it. :( just water for a while now... is there anything i can do to reverse the effects?

That's your problem right there.

-Pre fertilized soils are WAY too 'hot' for tiny plants. You gotta wait until the first transplant at ~2-3 weeks before you should even consider using them, and even then, you'll want to just go with plain potting soil- those time-release ferts can wreak havoc with your fertilizing routine later!

-No added nutes until you've got a good solid 4-5 sets of adult leaves.

-Next time, start the plant in a much smaller pot- the seedling really only needs about 60-100 mL of soil volume for the fest couple weeks of life, using nice fine unfertilized seedling soil, and then after that- BAM- into the rich stuff!

well the only reason i started with the big pots is because i was under the impression that you transplant as less as possilbe... is it time to start over?

I hate to say it, but indeed your best bet may be to start over, unless those are special seeds that you just can't bear to waste.

Read the link in my sig for some background that will make other advice make more sense, but the basic idea is to make transplanting as stress free as possible. Then, you can take advantage of each transplant to put the plant in fresh, light soil that is correct for the life stage it is about to enter. In the end, you actually BENEFIT from frequent transplants, even though it might seem counterintuitive.
Stressed plants sometimes stay runty for their whole lives so if those were just bagseeds, or a test you were doing, pop a couple more and start fresh.
I like this one soil called Farfards seedling starting mix a LOT. It is ideal for cannabis seedlings.
If you have to save those plants, you will need to flush the pot out a lot- BUT!- since the pot is so large, flushing is a pain: The roots aren't really all that well developed, and the soil that the roots aren't getting into will just sit there sodden for a while and can cause more problems. If you must flush, add MORE drain holes in the SIDES of the pots so it dries out faster.

there is so much conflicting information on growing availble.i knew this wouldnt be the simplest thing. i just wish i could get one clear set of instructions ya know? AARGGHHH!! :jointsmile:

That being said, dude sorry about your plants! Dont worry, my first grow i fertilized as soon as the first true leaves appeared. It didnt work out so well but I'm definitely doing better now and you will too! :hippy:
