It hurts to close my eye!

it really sucked cuz i couldn't keep my eye open in any kinda light, like i had to wear sunglasses just to post here or watch tv... but closing it hurt it more

for some reason putting a make-shift eye patch over it made it feel better.. maybe you should try it.... just get a long sock or strip of cloth and tie it on your head over your eye, doesn't have to be tight.

Yeah I do wear contacts, but i tried to move the contact around hoping it will pick up whatever is bothering my eye.
Hmm cornea eh? I hope its not that serious.. yeah it does help when i press my eye a bit. thanks for the tip hopefully it will go away quick

happens to me once in a while.. i just keep rubbing my eye till its gone.. haha sry if im of no help =P hope whatevers stuck there gets out ;)

You could have a speck of dust or something stuck to your eyelid. If you're not squeamish about doing it, or if you know somebody who is willing to help, you can examine the underside of the lid by rolling it back over the shaft of a Q-tip swab. If there is anything stuck there, it can usually be safely removed by gently touching it with the tip of another swab.

well whatever it was, its gone.. i blinked one day my eye got blurry and thats when it came out.. it wasn't something hard or solid, like soft tissue paper. anyways, thanks for all the advice :)
