I heard there was a really amazing grow system around here somewhere.....
Still trying to find it though....
If someone finds it can you let me know. I really like cool DIY systems....
Focus less on your arguments and more on the growing.
Was it pounds or punts?Quote:

[sorry for not giving any growing advice...i was just popping in this thread to say hello :smokin:]

I was asking for advice on a grow setup and what i got was criticism of my morals and values so of course im going to be pissed off. Yes cannabis is illegal in southern ireland but the penalties are less severe than in America. And the fighting in Ireland with Nationalists and unionists is the result of the British imperialists wanting to invade and take control of every country. Rapists and murederers were taken out of prisons in England, put into the army and sent over here to reak havoc. To this day the I.R.A is still fighting to win back Northern Ireland to make Ireland a 32 county free state. Its nothing like America
There aren't many countries like America, and never will be. Regrettably, our country and her long-term goals are in a state of disparity right now...but, things are going to change in 2008. I won't defend the actions of our President, because I don't support many of the decisions that he's made in the past...and continues to make to this day. But I'm not going to stand by idly and listen to someone openly insult this country, labeling it a 'prejudiced, corrupt dictatorship', just because of biased news reports that were heard on the other side of the globe. If you don't live here, you have no right to make rash accusations about our government. Just like I won't claim to know the first thing about the intricacies of the Irish government, the actions of the Irish Republican Army, or the reunification of North & South.Quote:

And in several of the states that still have harsh laws against it, the police have been given to choice to assert discretion when deciding whether or not to prosecute citizens caught with marijuana. Change is possible, it's just not instantaneous...regardless of what country you live in.
And in regard to your conversation with StinkyAttic, she only repeated something that you mentioned in a post: that you "don't want the family seeing this"...and that self-wiring can be potentially dangerous, and possibly a security risk in a country that doesn't openly approve of the cultivation of marijuana. Then you seemed to snap on her because of some obvious pent-up frustration with the British government. She didn't mean you any ill will, she was just expressing her opinion...and you didn't seem to take it very well at all. As for the conversation itself, I didn't plan on interfering...that is, until you made ugly claims about a government that certainly has its faults, but that is no more "corrupt & prejudiced" than just about every other country on earth, including yours. Point out a country that is perfect, with a citizenship that is 100% content with their governments state of affairs, and I'll gladly board a flight to Ireland and beg for your forgiveness in person.
Ok, i was in the wrong, i over-reacted and i apologise to anybody i insulted. i really dont know fuck all about America's drug laws so i really have no valid arguement.
Now lets all chill out and forget our troubles wit a nice big reefer.:angry3:+:bigsmoke:=:hippy:
Wow Mr. Clandestine you make an eloquent argument.
I REALLY look forward to the day when we won't even HAVE this issue because all of us living in countries that claim to have a functional democratic process will have forced our lawmakers to listen to what the People want.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't try to re-wire your attic!!!!!!!!

Thank you also, Stinky. My wife agrees that I've been blessed with the gift of argument! (Though, I don't really think she considers it a "blessing"!)
Take care, you two.
