Yes, it was negative, but it was diluted (not enough creatinine, too much water).
So, the company is allowing me a retest. Instead of denying employment outright and accusing me of cheating.
Get some home tests just to be sure. Do a first void of the day, undiluted test to see what the worst case situation is.
Yesterday when I had my random I asked the tech what was there cutt off point for water consumption if I need to set there and hydrate to take the piss.He said 48 ounces is what they use.I sat there and drank 32 ounces and my urine was still pretty yellow.
SO just follow the normal guidelines for dillution:
Drink some extra water or Gatorade in the morning of the test.
Pee a couple times before the test.
And take a midstream sample of the urine.

I was told by a collector that if the person can't go, they are allowed 40 ounces of fluid over 3 hours and obviously you can't leave the facility during this time. Then the collector is also supposed to mark on the form how much was consumed over how long. You have to be able to produce a sample within the 3 hours or else it is a refusal.
Shaggy, sports drinks and not water is preferred because it helps keep up specific gravity.
I got a home test, I'm going to use it sometime Monday to see what I'm against.
Verify: Home tests use the same immunoassay technology? If I can pass a home test, 99% likely I will pass the EMIT?
Another question, even if I don't dilute myself (only drink like one or two glasses of fluid before to make sure I can go), should I still take aspirin? Will it still help? I assume I won't need the b-vitamins, since I won't be diluted.
