The "C" Word and the "P" Word
The point of banning words is silly, while it does make it "nicer," the point of putting so much negative emphasis on a word is pathetic. Are you going to cry if someone calls you a C or P? How can a word be so harmful? It's the people, people just need to get over the fact that it's just a word.
The "C" Word and the "P" Word
This issue has been hashed and re-hashed.
The issue with the word 'c***' is that it reduces a woman to nothing more than a degrading word for her genitalia. Not only is it insulting, it is also implicitly deeply sexist.
The others are IMHO FAR less insulting.
If any of you fine gentlemen feel threatened by someone calling you a prick in a thread, please bring it to a moderator's attention, where it will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Anyway... I'm just going to end this one. Sundance can have a peek at it and make a decision for next time the site rules are updated.

I was sitting here trying to figure out how to word what I wanted to say and you just took the words out of my mouth. I would like to add that look at other forms of media. You will hear prick used on network TV but will you ever hear the C word on network TV? No.
Thank you Steve and Billionfold for helping explain it. This thread is close to being closed.
