Although I do not use the four letter word beginning with a "C", I am aware that postings have been deleted that contained it. I just noticed that the male-equivalent of that word, which begins with a "P", is being used in posts.

Is the five letter "P" word allowed, but the four letter "C" word not?

Not the same thing. Calling someone a "pussy" does not have the impact of "c___" or "p____".

That doesn't have much to do with it. In Europe, the 'c' word is used frequently without upsetting people. The vulgarity of words is relative to location. Some words may be deemed more vulgar in different areas of the world than others.

I am not a supporter of censorship, but if they're going to ban the "P" word, then the same should be done for the "P" one.

As I see it, the difference is this...
All of the other references to the 'naughty bits', have other uses in language.
Cock - a male chicken
Prick - a poke with a sharp object that breaks the skin
Dick - a nickname for men named Richard
Wang - an obsolete business computer
Pussy - a cat
etc...

Whereas the 'c***' word has no other usage in the English language, except the derogatory one.

The c word is a misogynistic term is most cases. Most women would rather hear the term p***y than the c word. Calling a woman a c word is one of the biggest insults you can say and I know you are smart enough to understand that BA without it being explained why women cringe when they hear that word.
