The "C" Word and the "P" Word

Although I do not use the four letter word beginning with a "C", I am aware that postings have been deleted that contained it. I just noticed that the male-equivalent of that word, which begins with a "P", is being used in posts.

Is the five letter "P" word allowed, but the four letter "C" word not?

Not really. The female equivalent to penis is vagina. NOT c***! Sorry to bust your bubble.
Maybe you mean prick ?Then you got pussy. Both allowable. I have to see what other 5 letter P words there are.

I don't live in a bubble, and if you're joking about not knowing what the word is that I'm referring to (NOT "penis"), you got me.

Not the same thing. Calling someone a "pussy" does not have the impact of "c___" or "p____".

Believe me, I grew up in the streets of New York - I know enough about cursing.

I am not a supporter of censorship, but if they're going to ban the "P" word, then the same should be done for the "P" one.

I say "Ban" nothing...you 2 are helping the man keep us down with all of this censorship...if nobody has said anything about it, why bring it up? and you say you hate censorship..haha...give me a friggin break.

As I see it, the difference is this...
All of the other references to the 'naughty bits', have other uses in language.
    Cock - a male chicken
Prick - a poke with a sharp object that breaks the skin
Dick - a nickname for men named Richard
Wang - an obsolete business computer
    Pussy - a cat
    etc...

Whereas the 'c***' word has no other usage in the English language, except the derogatory one.

The c word is a misogynistic term is most cases. Most women would rather hear the term p***y than the c word. Calling a woman a c word is one of the biggest insults you can say and I know you are smart enough to understand that BA without it being explained why women cringe when they hear that word.
