Why do I start to see this pattern, where a non Christian will search the internet, and find some radical crackpot internet preacher that that's often unnacountable to a peer review or outside criticism, and post the nonsense in a forum as if it's the majority position, or even according to scripture?
Look, it's as simple as this:
" 29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. "
Is marijuana a plant? yes.
Is it green? yes.
Does it bear seed? yes.
Marijauna is a gift from God. But that doesn't mean everything about the marjuana culture is right with God. Also, since God said we can have the herb, then that overrides mans law. So it's not unlawful and therefore it's silly to use it in any act of rebellion or act of counterculture.
I think common sense tells us quite plainly, that this plant was intended for consumption in moderation. There you go. Now use it in the healthiest way you can and praise God for giving you the wonderful herb.
I would like to say though that a lot of teenagers and even adults, their lives are much too focused on marijauna , and they are absorbed in the culture surrounding it. Don't you think it's wrong to have any culture or lifestyle that can't work without weed? Or is weed what fuels your life?
those things that are spiritual, things you can't see or touch, those things are eternal . Those things we can see and touch, those things are transistory. Moth will corrupt and theives will steal. Don't be weighed down by those things. They will fail you.
Hehe. But, but, God wrote the Bible, so it must be true!
If I remember correctly, the Bible recommended using cannabis, did it not? :)
Or rather, at least the ones that aren't altered in order to support a particular agenda.
