Uh oh...weed is bad because apparently, God says so!
Just another bunch of idiotic insane religious fundamentalism.
Hmm....ok. God created everything good in Genesis, yet his followers seem to think otherwise. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of creating it then? Kind of saying God fucked up. Would you want to worship a god who fucked up? lol
The person who wrote this article really has no concept of true spirituality or the real reason why cannabis is illegal. This is what religion can do to you if you take it to a bullshit ridiculous level.

God's Truth
About
MARIJUANA
Man has made marijuana a graven image, which is not God??s will. It is man??s will to worship this plant. The second commandment, ??Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Exodus 20:4? Man has made marijuana a likeness of God, a likeness for health, a likeness to solve problems, and a likeness of life itself. We seek marijuana instead of seeking our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Micah 5:12, God says, ??And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand;? The word ??witchcraft? here comes from the Greek word pharmakon: magic charm, poison, drug; a spell giving potion. God is speaking here about the marijuana that you hold in your hand, as a joint, or in a pipe, or a bong. He continues in verse 12, ???and thou shalt have no more soothsayers.? Soothsayers are people that promote or teach wisdom that is evil and a lie, and their ways will separate you from God. In verse 13, ??Thy graven images also will I cut off and they standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.? The ??standing images? refers to bongs and hookahs, which set in the middle (midst) to be packed with marijuana and then passed around. The ??work of thine hands? is the preparation and manipulation of the marijuana and the paraphernalia.
In verse 14 God says ??And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of the thee: so will I destroy the cities.? Groves of fruit or nut trees would not bring God to anger, but groves of marijuana certainly would, as you see in Micah 5:15 ??and I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.? Micah 6:10 ??Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?? If you use marijuana it becomes a treasure to you; it is as beautiful as a fine jewel and more valuable than money. Micah 6:11, ??Shall I count them pure with the wicket balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?? Marijuana is weighed out on scales and sold in bags. Micah 6:12 ??For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tounge is deceitful in their mouth.? Everyday in the news we see that drug dealers have killed judges, law enforcement, and each other. We see the violence of the glorified drug kingpins portrayed on television and in the movies.
In verse 13 God says, ??Therefore also I will make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.? When God taught me the truth about marijuana in 1999, my body was very sick, as it was during all my years of smoking marijuana. Smoking marijuana would give me temporary relief, but I would always get worse. Even before God taught his truth about marijuana to me, I knew that in some way the marijuana was making me sick. It makes me very sad and concerned to know that all the patients with AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, etc., who are using marijuana for its supposed medicinal qualities, are getting sicker with every toke. Micah 6:14 ??Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied;? [the munchies] ??and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.? You cannot build up any aspect of your life (a relationship with God, a career, a marriage, a family) while using marijuana. Verse 15 continues this emphasis: ??Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.? You say, ??I will have,? or ??I will build,? but it never happens or stands.
So why did God create the marijuana plant? In Ezekiel 15 God tells us: verse 1, ??And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, verse 2, ??Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?? verse 3, ??Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? Or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?? When I grew marijuana, I would save the wood and cure it. Then I took that wood and made a peg from it, and hung my bathrobe on it. Or as God says in verse 3, ??a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon,? a pin is a peg, and a vessel is a covering. The word of God in verse 3, identifies the vine tree as the marijuana plant to us. Also, ??vine? refers to a plant that grows rapidly. And in one growing season, marijuana can grow to a height of 17 feet, a small-sized ??tree.? Continuing in Ezekiel 15:4, ??Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned.? Is it meet for any work? God tells us here in verse 4, ??it (marijuana) is cast into the fire for fuel;? God created marijuana for fuel! Verse 5 ??Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?? God speaks very clear here in verse 5, read this verse again please. Because we do not use it as a fuel, as God intended, marijuana has no use, not even medical. Using marijuana will separate you from God, as we read in Galatians 5:19-21, ??Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft?? Continuing verse 21 in part, ???they which do such things, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
God gave me this word in March 1999. I had used, sold and grown marijuana for 23 years. I was an expert; it was my graven image. It was the first thing I did in the morning and the last thing I did at night. There is more to this message. If you would like me to teach you this word from God, please contact me at my address, email or website on this brochure.

Uh oh...weed is bad because apparently, God says so!
yeah, i got about half way through the first paragraph and i came to this conlcusion...
i'm not wasting my time reading that lengthy horseshit....
i will say this however (i don't believe in god and i'm obviously a pothead) there still is a bit of doubt about god and weed... i mean he created it, doesn't mean he meant for us to smoke it....
don't flip out on me nowi'm just saying, that's about as close to a logical argument a christian could make against weed... other then that.... well it's usually filled with horseshit... twisting 'gods words' around to fit ones own needs for the persucution of their target audience.... and they do that alot.... that one commandment... lol that's what did it in for me on this article... we're not worshiping a false idol by loving weed... we don't pray to it, we don't think it has some godly super powers, we don't believe it is our creator, and we don't believe we will be punished for not following it's will.... therefore it's not a false idol and the qoute that bible thumper used in no way applies...

yea it is just some more bullshit christians have come up with. i think christians are a bunch of hipercrits now i believe in god i read the bible and everything. but i dont go to church for the simple fact that these hipercrits have made there own set of rules and judge everybody. now in the bible some where i cant remember where but it say's that you should not judge and by doing so you are putting yourself above god as god is the only one who can make judgement thats not exactly how it was put but somewhere along those lines i tryed to find the page but couldnt. and of course we all know alot of christians judge so how many of them will really make it up to them gates.

Well... as a half-christian, i did read all the text... the passages cited there, in the books of Micah and Ezekiel, refers about things that are completly unrelated to his interpretation concerning weed.
If we get only small quotes of the Bible, without looking at in which context they are, and what they really mean, its easy to interpret them at will, and its exactly what religion-makers does. They get a small piece of the Bible (or any "sacred" book), and interpret them in the way they wish.
