I'm not saying they are sell outs i mean doing a tom cruise movie song that's not commercial is it?, and i'm sure that big battle lars had with napster was just cause he was struggling to make ends meet right? i mean we all saw how poor he was at that art auction. I see this album as just another money spinner, clearley their hearts are not in it anymore. They are claiming to be going back to the old days but they just sound like shit.
Robert Trujillo save Metalica's ass. . .
How i miss Cliff Burton... ah... good times...
I used to love metallica just like any other guitar playin punk teenager, but I've lost interest greatly over the years. load and reload were barely mediocre (there were a couple songs i remember liking)... st. anger was fucking awful. And I just find the older stuff so played out, and cliche that i get bored of it...
IMO these days Mastodon reigns over Metalica has the thrash metal band to listen to. Mastodon fuckin destroys (especially live)
Where do you get the illusion Metallica was ever a thrash band? The only thing even close to thrash that they came out with was Kill em all, and maybe parts of master of puppets.
