Smoke yourself sober?

My friend says this all the time..We will be sitting chilled out after smoking a lot and he will utter the words "im sober". Dunno if he actually is sober or not...

I dont think you can smoke yourself completely sober, but after a certain point you wont get any higher, you'll just be inhaling smoke.

Ive smoked myself sober before. It wasnt a pleasant experience, you know, that whole wasting my entire high thing just isnt my gig.

And I was pretty much sober... just sitting there, none of the normal effects that I was feeling even half an hour before.

Granted, it does take ALOT of smoking for it to happen, at least to me. I think we finished off a quarter between two friends and I in under 3 hours. I was baked out of my mind for almost all of it, but then just suddenly I realized I wasnt high anymore, but I was still smoking.. odd experience to say the least.

I find that the sleepy point usually comes before the sober part. I can smoke myself sleepy pretty easily, and occasionally do ass out on the couch or where ever I am at. Pushing through the sleepy stoner phase though is when I eventually end up sober again if I go balls to the wall smoking.

I've heard of it, but havent experienced it. My friend once smoked so much within a week that he swore he couldnt get high no matter how much he smoked.

Man my brother and I used to do it all the time. You just smoke all day. Its not so much that your sobers its more you just don't give a fuck.

I bought a half Ounce last friday, been smoking every day this week and yesterday I couldnt get high. I smoked 2 joints, went to Chinese for about an hour, feeling ok but no where near high. Then smoked two big bowls and was perfectly sober. It sucked real bad. talk about wasting weed....

yeesh...I gotta keep this sort of thing in mind from now on. fuck man.
