Smoke yourself sober?

My girl always says if she smokes too much she can literally smoke herself "straight". I'm not sure whether to believe this or not...I feel as though I may have done it once, but that could've been me overthinking it.

Any thoughts on the smoking yourself sober thing? Truth? bullshit?

I have heard this as well...

I think before that would happen, you would probably just pass out. It is also very unlikely for this to happen and I doubt that there is any scientific proof regarding this subject.

weird...so it's possible huh. seems like such a weird concept, to smoke so much that you come full circle. hmmm

Yes, it can happen. I posted that very saying on a thread yesterday - but I said, "smoke yourself straight".

However, if you sit down with about an ounce of very strong hash, and just keep smoking continuously, not even inhaling, for a few hours, you will most likely NOT smoke yourself straight. You'll get extremely stoned, possibly even "tripped-out". That's an old cultural tradition in some countries that make hash, because it's cheap and plentiful.

well i have been smoking for a while and sometimes i just feel stoned enough.. but not stupid. and don't get those pretty red eyes and walk straigh and talk right.. but pretty fuck up in mind
