read what i put above.. if my last post seems like what you gotta do, make sure not to strip off but like a 1/4-1/3 inch of the insulator on the power cord (cut it too long and there will still be exposed wire outside the boot and that'd be a fire hazzard.
Thats not a PC fan, its 115 volts @ 60 hz, house power, all you need is to plug it into the wall. Cut a 2 wire lamp cord * unplugged first *, and connect it to your 2 leads from the fan, plug in to wall outlet, Complete.
Wait I'm confused on the cutting and stripping part. I'm so sorry but I was never into any of this stuff. The only reason I'm going out of my way to learn now is because I need to because this is really urgent lol.

make a clean cut across (seperating it, it's important it's a clean cut, i.e. all the seperate strands of wife inside are the same length, just use scissors)
take the cut end, and seperate the two wires by pulling them apart (might have to put a knife inbetween them to start the seperation... just do it at the very end... just so it's seperated like in the pic)
i imagine you don't have wire strippers :p so just use your teeth... bite down, about 1/4 inch from the end (do each wire seperately) and pull on the cord... you only wanna bite hard enough to peirce the rubber insulation (rubber around the actual wires) the pulling will fully seperate and pull off the uneeded insulation...
once both ends are exposed, just twist them a bit (doesn't gotta be much, just so it doens't come unraveled... like a half turn or less with your hands)
then you should just have to shove each end into that thing inbetween your fingers in that 2nd pic... (one wire goes in each hole)

Look - this fan is advertised with a power cord, which it doesn't have. Return the fan and get a refund. Go to Radio Shack, they have a similar fan for $12.95 with no power cord but they can sell you a power cord and hook it up for you.
If you don't know what you are doing with the wires, you are asking for trouble.
Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing with wires, I'm still fucked because I'm lost as hell. I might be too high to understand but usually I'd understand something. I think I'm just new to this and have no idea what I'm really suppose to be doing.
just go to a hardware store or Wal * Mart and get a plug... you just snap it on the end with NO tools and it will be safe... Don't fuck with the wires if your not sure...
